   This  is a small Bulgarian village, situated in a picturesque hilly area. It is located 16 km to the north of the highway Varna – Sofia, in a region extremely suitable for hunting and fishing, but still not very popular with the foreign investors in real estates in countryside. The town is situated in the skirts of Stara Planina mountain, in the meanders of the Yantra river. Tzarevetz stronghold, Assen’s neighbourhood, more than 17 churches, monasteries, museums, architectural and cultural monuments, Arbanassi reserve and many more are in and around the town.
