A house in the heart of the magnificent Balkan Mountain range, situated only 10km away from the town of Troyan, near the 3rd biggest monastery in Bulgaria-the Troyan Monastery. The area is famous for the outstanding beauty of the surrounding nature. The sleepy picturesque village where the house is situated lies sheltered by the hills of the mountain, in a marvelous atmospheric landscape, surrounded by rolling wooded countryside. The lively little village is nestled on the banks of a small river and offers a wealth of fishing and hunting sites around. The local residents have preserved their traditional way of life and the visitors feel as if a time-machine has taken them back in the 18th century. Here you can see craftsmen busy in their workshops, doing the same job their ancestors did centuries ago.
The house we offer has two floors and six rooms. It is a nice traditional Bulgarian house on a land plot of 600sq.m, which is suitable for growing vegetables and flowers and for planting trees. It is in a finished state, but needs an overhaul, as it has been neglected for several years, but after some repairs it would make a perfect family house. A river is running nearby. The house goes with a lean-to and farm buildings.
