Here are the mineral baths of Shipkovo, offering excelent conditions for balneological tourism. 20km away from Troyan is situated the "Beklemeto" resort that offers several hotels and a ski track. 9 km southeast of Troyan is located the famous Monastery of Troyan, which is the third biggest monastery in Bulgaria. The sleepy village, where the house is situated sits quietly at the edge of the Balkan Mountain range, on а branch of the Beli Osum River, famous for its wealth of fish and wonderful fishing and hunting sites.
