The village is located within the area of the Avren Municipality, only 17 km away from the city of Varna. The municipality is a predominantly flat country with an altitude of 0 to 380 meters above sea level and generally sloping southwards. The Kamchia Resort Complex (3km away) is the home of two biosphere reservations. The Kamchia Reservation is under the auspices of UNESCO and encompasses a protected area of 842 hectares, and the northern bank of the Kamchia River is the Longoza reservation covering an area of 14 hectares.
