Two earthquakes measuring 4 and 3.7 on the Richter scale jolted the land for sale in Iran in the cities of Firouzabad and Maku in the southern and northwestern provinces of Fars and West Azarbaijan Sunday evening and early Monday, respectively.
According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake in Firouzabad was registered at 17:49 hours local time (1419 GMT).
It was epicentered in an area measuring 52.26 degrees in longitude and 28.47 degrees in latitude, the report added.
The quake in Maku was registered at 04:11 hours local time (0041 GMT).
It was epicentered in an area measuring 44.51 degrees in longitude and 39.32 degrees in latitude.
There are no reports of any casualty or damage to property caused by the quakes.
Iran is often hit by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the world's most active seismic faultlines.
