Over 600 million Euros is the investment in the tourism in the Municipality for the last three years. This was announced by the Mayor of the Municipality – Nikolay Trifonov. According to him, the amount of investments is even bigger, because there is much more construction of new hotels in the resort during the last two seasons.
Trifonov said also that from now on the investment will be directed to three regions – Ravda, Obzor and Irakli.
In Ravda the new construction is concentrated in the region of the former pioneer base. It is expected that in the next year Obzor will offer 3000 more hotel beds, without counting the private lodgings, and the region around Emona – Irakli, will probably be the next reserve for tourism and construction of the Nessebar Municipality.
The Mayor announced that the number of the issued building permissions has grown up to 5 times, compared to the period three years ago.
The growing number of lodgings will require better maintenance of the infrastructure. This is why the construction of the new purifying station will be finished earlier – until the next summer season. The electricity supply system and the water supply system will be improved. There are plans for the construction of a new modern depot for garbage.
Mr. Trifonov announced that there are future plans for the construction of golf courses in the region of Emona in the region of Tynkovo-Orizare. The construction of a yacht port near Sveti Vlas is now considered as well.
