(2007-04-18) Bulgaria estate real Strategy for the development of Veliko Tarnovo District with unique houses for rent in Bulgaria

Elaborated on the basis of article 10 of the Law on Regional Development, the Strategy corresponds with the principles of programming and planning, laid down in the EU regional policy and socio – economic cohesion policy.
Veliko Tarnovo District elaborated a Short-term Energy Efficiency Strategy, too. It includes:
•        Reduction of the relative energy consumption per GDP unit in Veliko Tarnovo district;
• Mitigation of harmful gasses emissions in the atmosphere and protection of the environment in Veliko Tarnovo District;
•        Improvement of the quality of life of the population of Veliko Tarnovo District;
•        Sustainable development of the district.
 Up till now, the effectiveness of Veliko Tarnovo’s municipality can be proved with some facts.
Veliko Tarnovo is the first city in Southeastern Europe to win the European Union Sustainable Development Prize.
The region is amongst the first 10 places in Eastern Europe to be recommended for visiting by the popular “Lonely Planet” journal.
The investment rate in real estate reaches up to 20% a year, which is a high rate in comparison with other countries in the region.The high interest in real estate is due to the geographical location and the standard in the region.
The transport system provides all the necessary conditions for further development of the region and for the growing interest in buying estates.
One of the most important advantages of the transport infrastructure of the region is the international airport in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. It works non-stop and with state-of-the-art equipment. It takes in cargo, passenger and charter flights from countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
The special railway junction in Gorna Oryahovitsa is of national significance for the Republic railway traffic and the International Railway Corridors, passing through the region.
To the north, Veliko Tarnovo District borders with the Danube river. The port of the town of Svishtov is built on the southern side of the river. It is a main port for the region because it connects Bulgaria with the countries situated on the Central Danube. The port provides inexpensive and ecological traffic of long-distance mass cargoes.
The geographic location of Veliko Tarnovo District in North Central Bulgaria makes it a crossroad of nearly all vehicular traffic. The roads through Veliko Tarnovo carry the highest volume of national and international traffic.
The indexes for the means of communication in the region are higher than the average in the country.
Major characteristic of the district economy is its diversification and existence of traditional productions. Business climate improvement and the extended flexibility achieved by the district companies, that are trying to act in response of the high European and international standards for the quality of their production; determine stability and sustainability of the district economic development for the last few years.
The investments in real estate in Veliko Tarnovo are really perspective. As a Bulgarian capital in the past it has great traditions and interesting past. You won’t regret if you buy a property, because the houses and apartments in Bulgaria are still cheap at the expense of the fast increasing of the standard of life.
