The Municipality of Bolyarovo is making projects for financing by the European programmes for the development of the rural tourism and the preserving of the surrounding area. This was announced by the mayor of the Municipality – Hristo Hristov.
According to him, the region has great potential for the development of the hunting tourism. At first, opportunities will be given to Companies and interested persons for the construction of vacation complexes near the Malko Sharkovo Dam. This dam is owned by the government and by now it is used only for sport fishing. The coast line of the dam is with 25 km length. It is maintained by the local fishermen association “Strandja”. According to the mayor, the dam is valuable possession and when it is developed, it will be turned into a great tourist centre.
Except for that, there is a project for the construction of a resort complex in the area. It will include tourist stations, fast food restaurants, restaurants, candy shops, cafes, pubs, etc. Except for that the complex will take care of the cultural entertainment of the visitors – there will be hobby-clubs, card playing clubs, multifunctional hall for cultural events which will function as a cinema, video hall, etc.
In the complex there will be a bank branch, authorized to fulfill bank operations with the relevant foreign bank, post office, telephone, telegraph, ticket and information centre, providing communications in the country and abroad.
In the central part of the complex there will be a trading centre with a food store, shop for drinks, cosmetics, shoes, clothes, bookstore, etc.
