The municipality of Radnevo is situated in the Eastern part of Gornothrachiyska lowland and is in the region of Stara Zagora.
The first settlements on the territory of the municipality date back to 2000 years BC.There are many historical landmarks- 275 archaeological monuments. These landmarks, combined with the unique exponents of stone, bone, bronze and gold evidence for the ancient and rich history of Radnevo.
Today Radnevo is on the top of the list of municipalities with the best social and economic development in Bulgaria. It is proved with the rate of GDP per capita. The municipality is a main producer of brown coal and an important producer of electricity.
This year forestation and spring-cleaning was organised as а part of the project “Fresh air for our town”.More than 50 children participated in the event and about 100 new trees were planted. Lime-trees were planted on the high street of Radnevo and sycamores and other kinds of trees on other main streets.
A new recreational nook was made in the municipality of Radnevo. It turned into a very attractive place for relaxation with the help of the local people, the active participation of the punitive detachment in the municipality and with the help of Water-supply and Sewage Company of Radnevo. There are tables and benches, two barbeques, which allow cooking food in the nook.
A lot of internal and international roads cross the territory of Radnevo municipality. All settlements in the municipality are water-supplied. Radnevo is a host of traditional international activities. The most important are the international folk festival for instrumental bands and “Light, land, people” painting event.
The municipality has a high level of social and economic development. It is an advantageous place for real estate investment.
