Chirpan is an attractive place for investment!
This year there are a few projects that aim at improving the municipal economy and business: a project for a vineyard, creating of a new lavender plantation and project for utilization of Chirpan’s mineral spring.
The land in Chirpan is very fertile and the agriculture in the municipality is a traditional branch with traditions and experience in that field. It gives an excellent opportunity for vine-growing. The lavender-growing is very profitable for the region and there are great traditions in that sphere.
The town of Chirpan is located in the central part of Bulgaria and includes a part of the Sredna Gora mountains (the Chirpan heights), and a the Maritsa River valley which runs through the Upper Thracian Plains. The climate in the region is temperately continental; soils are rich, thus conducive to the development of agriculture.
Chirpan is located on the major motor- and railway line and maintains regular bus connections with all the big towns in this part of Bulgaria and other towns in the region.
Chirpan is the cultural and economic center of the region and the residence of the municipal administration. The town is the birthplace of a number of famous Bulgarian artists and musicians, most notably Peyo Yavorov, one of Bulgaria's greatest poets.
There are a couple of authentic Bulgarian houses, which stand out with their exceptional architectural design of the past century. Both houses are now modern restaurants with authentic 19th century interior, which make them unique attractions to all visitors.One of the few remaining horse-driven mills in the country is preserved in the yard of Manchev’s house.
