The business man and a concessionaire of the Bourgas beach – Vaklin Stoynevski, will invest about 50 million Euros in the construction of the skyscraper in Bourgas. Some time ago a competition for a project was held. The competition for visual design and functionality of the skyscraper is already finished. With equal number of votes from the jury are the architects At. Panov, prof. G. Stoilov and prof. M. Tatarini. But the acknowledgement of the public was received by the project of arch. Dimitar Pascalev and consultant arch. Kalin Dikov. In the period from 15th till 21st June the developed architectural projects were exhibited in the building of the Bourgas Free University. The Bourgas citizens had the opportunity to view them and to vote for the most proper work according to them. The projects were exposed in the building till the end of the month. By now it is not clear whether any of the projects which were chosen by the jury will be useful for the fulfillment of the building. It is possible the investor to chose one of them and to buy the right for its usage to the relevant architectural Company. Either way, the skyscraper will be built and it will be situated in the Sea Garden of Bourgas. Stoynevski has already received all the necessary documents and permissions for the construction. The terrain on which the building will be raised is owned by the Company, but the date on which the construction will start is still not defined. A Company which will be an executer of the project will be chosen soon. One part of the skyscraper will be of offices. Stoynevsky plans part of the building to be used for a world famous hotel network, and another one form holding meetings for the development of congress tourism. There will be also a sea museum, where different cultural initiatives will be held. There will be also premises for fitness, swimming pools and spa procedures. The aim of Stoinovsky is the skyscraper to become a symbol of Bourgas. The building will be about 60 metres away from the beach line.
